The products we deliver are often big and heavy items to lift, so there will be certain occasions when we may be unable to get it into your property. Lots of steps, narrow corridors, radiators, and restricted parking are all things that may hinder our ability to deliver; it is your responsibility to ensure access to your property. In situations where we cannot gain access, we may be able to offer delivery to the nearest point possible e.g., your garage, so you can make arrangements to get the product in. If we believe successful re-delivery is viable when you have taken the necessary measures, we will attempt another delivery however we reserve the right to not re-attempt delivery.

Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

From time to time, this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. How The Contract Is Formed Between Online4baby.com and You.

Please note the display of any product on our website is in no way an offer by us to sell to you. It is your response that is the offer. Once an order has been placed you will receive an order acknowledgement with the details of your order. This does not mean your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us.

Order acceptance and completion of the contract between you and us will occur upon the despatch (to you) of the products ordered unless we have been unable to accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

Non-acceptance of an order may occur for the following reasons:-

Our Contract with you

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the product(s) from us, and we will send you an order acknowledgement. However, your order will only be accepted by us once your product(s) have been delivered to you. Until then we can decline to supply the goods – we will try to ensure that this never happens, but we do, however, reserve the right not to fulfil your order for any reason if, for example, we have made an error on the price or similar or we simply can't get hold of the model you need. In the event of these circumstances, we will refund you any price you’ve paid to us. We reserve the right not to accept an order for any reason and we won’t be liable to you or anyone else in these circumstances.

Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all sizes, weights and measurements quoted on the website are approximate only. Similarly, we've made every effort to display all product colours accurately. However, we can't guarantee that the image displayed on a monitor or screen will accurately reflect the true colour of the product delivered to you. Please also be aware that colours may differ between manufacturers. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that product specifications are correct on the website, due to continual product development through research & design, specifications may change without notice. Delivery

We offer UK delivery however some geographical restrictions may apply. We may not be able to deliver if you're in the Scottish Highlands or in more remote parts of Scotland. The post codes we deem out of bounds and cannot deliver to are referenced by carrier below. Due to courier restrictions, we can't deliver to the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or the Republic of Ireland.

We aim to deliver your order in the quickest possible timeframe from the point you order has been accepted. The weight and volumetric size of the item(s) in your basket dictates the courier service which is used to ship your order. Please see the table and courier tabs below for courier information.

Yodel Delivery

Online4baby.com offers a Free Delivery Service for the majority of their parcels depending on size and weight (or 2 Working day if out of bounds areas) to most of the UK on all orders over £49.99* if cleared funds are received before 8pm. There are exceptions for out of bounds areas, please see the table below. The courier we use is 'Yodel' for all standard deliveries (See other delivery tab for Nursery Furniture deliveries i.e. Room sets, Cot beds, Junior beds that include mattresses). Our contracted hours for delivery with Yodel are between 7am and 9pm. However, Yodel offers a service called "Xpect".  Providing you supply us with a current mobile number and/or email address which gives a 2 hour delivery window notification via SMS and/or Email on the morning of your delivery which can be rescheduled by you to a more convenient delivery date.

We give the buyer the assurances they need for them to receive their delivery in a clear timeframe once cleared funds have been received. Checking your delivery day is simple:

Depending if you have selected a next day or a 2 day delivery service, just find the day and time you made your order and the expected delivery day will be displayed next to it.

Our courier will endeavour to deliver your order within the timescale stated in your order acknowledgment. However, due to circumstances beyond our (and their) control, such as extreme weather conditions, security checks, unforeseen incidents, miss-route of parcels, delays may occur. If you are working to a set deadline (e.g. holiday departure, a birthday) please allow for extra time to cover any eventualities that may arise. Online4baby cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences caused in the unlikely event of a delayed delivery. In these instances, our courier will deliver your parcel(s) the next available working day.

Missed Deliveries

If there is nobody in at the delivery address to sign for the parcel(s), the driver will post a card through your door to let you know that a delivery attempt was made and take the parcel(s) back to the local depot for a re-attempt at the delivery address the next working day.  You can re-arrange delivery direct with our courier from the details left on the calling card or your text message.   Should no contact be made with us or the courier direct within 3 days from 1st delivery attempt the goods will then be returned back to Online4baby, a return charge of £16 for the first box and £8 for each additional cost will be incurred– see FAQ “Why has my item been returned to you?”

*Parcels requested by the customer to be left in a safe place without a signature will not be covered by the courier’s insurance, therefore it is at the customers own risk*

Large Nursery Furniture Deliveries -Online4baby Specialist Delivery Team

Online4baby.com offers a specialist 1-2* day delivery service free of charge** on all our premium Nursery Furniture

For large premium nursery furniture items such as room sets which include wardrobes, dressers, cot beds with mattresses our Online4baby specialist delivery service will deliver to the room of your choice. The delivery will take place within 1-2* days from the point of the order being paid in full depending on your postcode area. We currently deliver to 95% of the UK (see exceptions below).

Our Online4baby specialist team will contact you by SMS within 48 hrs of placing your order to offer you a choice of available delivery dates within the next 1-2* day period. Freight goods are delivered between Monday to Friday 7am and 8pm (a 3 hour delivery window will be offered). You will receive text notifications with live updates regarding delivery.

Missed Deliveries

It is extremely important to make sure someone is available on the agreed date at the delivery address between the hours of 8am and 8pm to sign for the parcel(s). A mobile contact telephone number must be provided to Online4baby when placing an order. Please be aware that the goods are not insured for loss or damage if requested to be left safe.

**Please note**The Free Delivery on Freight Goods will only be attempted once. Once the delivery has been agreed with the Delivery Team it is imperative that they make first attempt deliveries on your specified day to avoid redelivery charges). We advise not to agree a delivery date if you have to attend appointments or make school runs during that day. Deliveries which have failed will be instantly returned to sender and cannot be rebooked until payment has been made to Online4baby. Re-delivery can take up to 7-14 days. Please see re-delivery charges below

Cancellation of Delivery

Once the order has been processed and is in the courier network then the return to sender costs are the customers responsibility. (Please see the returns to sender charges above).

Returns

We are confident that you will love our furniture sets, but if for some reason you decide to return the Room Set we have made it quite easy for you. The right to cancel is a no fault cancellation. If the goods are faulty then the standard statutory rights apply. All of the products sold through Online4baby.com, in-store or over the telephone are covered by the 14 day right to cancel policy. To enable us to authorise a return you must notify us within 14 days from the day you receive your goods by contacting our customer services team by email at Hello@online4baby.com, by phone or by letter stating your order number. All we ask is that you have not assembled the Room Set and that you have kept the original packaging and have it ready for our delivery team to collect on the day arranged. Please note Nursery furniture which has been assembled cannot be returned. Any parcel returned to us without authorisation will be refused. It is the customer's responsibility for the return shipping cost and to take reasonable care and ensure the items returned are received by Online4baby.com in the original state, unused and undamaged. Please note if you chose to use your own courier please make sure you are covered with transit insurance to the correct value

We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the item is deemed to be non-resaleable. Items requiring assembly must not be assembled in any way and must be in the original packaging which is manufactured to pass the 1 metre drop test or they will not be accepted back. Your refund will be forwarded within a maximum of 14 days from receipt of the goods. This time period is to allow the Item to be returned, inspected and administered accordingly.

Damaged In Transit

Before you refuse the delivery, we ask that you check inside the box to establish if the item itself has been damaged. (The packaging is simply used to protect the item whilst in transit.) If you find the contents to be spoilt, please sign for the goods as damaged and contact us by email at hello@online4baby.com (Please include your order number in the email). We aim to respond to your enquiry in the quickest possible timeframe. We appreciate that all items that are delivered are not necessarily purchased for immediate use. So to avoid disappointment on opening we would ask that all your parcels are checked thoroughly on arrival and then in the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with the condition of how your order has arrived we ask you to contact us with images of any damage to the item and the packaging within 24hrs of receipt so that any problems can be rectified immediately, this is the timeframe that enables us to claim from the couriers insurance. Outside of this timeframe we are unable to claim from the courier’s insurance.

If you receive a delivery which has been damaged in transit, we are able to replace the product 'like for like' free of charge in the quickest possible timeframe. For wooden items damaged in transit we prefer to replace the damaged parts 'like for like' only and not the complete carton.  This prevents the likelihood of the whole carton getting damaged as a whole carton for the second time. Replacement parts are packed individually and securely for transit. However, if a replacement product is not your preference you are entitled to a refund.

The packaging/box around the product is simply there to protect the item whilst in transit. Due to the weight of some parcels and the distance travelled through many couriers depot's we cannot guarantee that the external packaging will not be marked on arrival and therefore if presentation is important i.e ordering for a gift this is at your own risk unless you have requested extra packaging prior to your order being dispatched.

*Re-delivery charges may apply if the consignment is refused for reasons other than the goods not conforming with your consumer rights e.g., the goods are faulty or not as described *

Faulty Goods

If the product you have purchase is faulty, we may offer a repair, exchange, or refund as appropriate in accordance with the Consumer Right Act 2015.  You will be required to provide proof of purchase such as your receipt, order confirmation email or sales invoice.  These rights are non-transferable.

Return of Unwanted Goods

The right to cancel is a no-fault cancellation. If the goods are faulty then the standard statutory rights apply. All our products sold through Online4baby.com or over the telephone are covered by the 14 days right to cancel policy. To enable us to authorise a return you must notify us within 14 days from the day you receive your goods by contacting our customer services team by email to hello@online4baby.com, fax or letter stating your order number. Any parcel returned to us without authorisation will be refused. It is the customer's responsibility for the return shipping cost and to take reasonable care and ensure the items returned are received by Online4baby.com in the original state, unused and undamaged. Do not dispose of any of the original packaging if you are wanting to return your goods. We cannot accept a return on any personal hygiene items such as mattresses, breast pumps, thermometers, sterilisers, bottle warmers where the original packaging has been opened/unsealed or used. We recommend all returns are arranged through Online4baby.com’s preferred courier service (Yodel), which provides a reliable and fully insured service. Collection charges are shown in the table below. Alternatively, if you prefer to arrange your own courier, items must be returned by a registered Courier or the Royal Mail for insurance purposes.

Once the item has been processed and authorised, your refund includes the full price of the goods; any deposit/part payments and the cost of the original standard delivery service (premium delivery services will not be refunded). The refund will be put back into the original payment method that was used. This refund will be completed within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

We reserve the right to make a deduction from the amount of any refund for loss in value of the Products returned where the Products show signs of unreasonable use or damage; for these purposes, unreasonable use includes handling the Products beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Products, in particular, if it goes beyond the sort of handling that might reasonably be allowed in a shop, in some cases this may include assembling the goods. Nursery furniture which has been assembled cannot be returned.

Where you are in possession of the Products (or they have been dispatched to you), we may withhold any refund until we have received the Products, or you have supplied proof of return for the Products.



*Please Note* Online orders must be booked in with Customers service within 14 days from the day after receipt. Any parcel returned to us without authorisation will be refused.

Collections

Please see below in the table collection charges and weights. Collections made by our courier Yodel are attempted between the hours of 8am and 6pm. All packages must be made available and boxed securely. Collections which are missed/or items that are not ready will have to be rebooked and charged at £10.

*Any complimentary item / gift originally supplied or provided at a later date with the item you are returning must be returned along with the original item.  We cannot refund or exchange if they are not returned together*

We can offer a discounted returns charge of £10 per box (excluding freight goods i.e Nursery Furniture and bulk items) should you wish to return for an exchange to an alternative product that is either the same price or higher.

*Small pram accessories (i.e footmuffs, bags, rain covers & parasols) can be returned by Royal Mail but only once return authorisation has been obtained*

In deciding the winner of a competition, Online4baby.com's decision is final. Online4baby.com reserve the right to exclude anyone from the competition for not complying with the community guidelines listed on the relevant source (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik-Tok etc). Prizes will be delivered within 1 week from the competition closing date. We only currently ship to UK mainland. By entering a competition online, you accept the terms & conditions outlined here and within the community guidelines of the social media site used.

Win your order back

1. To be eligible for the "Win Your Order Back" promotion, customers must make a minimum purchase of £150 excluding postage in a single transaction between 00:00 Friday 10th November - 23:59 Thursday 16th November 2023.

2. Prize excludes any delivery cost paid as part of the qualifying order.

3. Winners will be selected at random, and the prize will be equivalent to the total amount spent on the qualifying order.

4. Prize provided as a refund to the original payment method. No alternative payment method will be provided.

5. The promotion is subject to availability and can be discontinued at the discretion of the company.

6. The company reserves the right to end the promotion at any time without prior notice.

7. Winners will be selected at random and contacted via the email provided as part of the order by 30th November.

Online4baby.com Survey Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

 

Introduction

1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the Online4baby.com Survey Prize Draw ("Prize Draw") and by entering the Prize Draw, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.2. The Prize Draw is organized and operated by Online4baby.com ("the Promoter") with a registered address at [Meadowbank House Tweedale Way, Chadderton, Oldham, England, OL9 8EH].

 

Eligibility

2.1. To be eligible for competition entry, your responses must be submitted no later than 23:59 Sunday 2nd April 2023. Responses received after this date will be processed, but you will not be eligible for competition entry.

2.2. This competition is for existing customers of Online4baby only. You must enter a valid order number for your entry to be eligible. If an order number is not included, or the number provided is invalid, your responses will be processed, but you will not be eligible for competition entry.

2.3. You must provide a response to all questions to be entered into the competition.

2.4. Only one entry per eligible order number will be accepted.

 

Winners and Prizes

3.1. Winners will be contacted directly by Online4baby no later than 30th April 2023.

3.2. Prizes will be awarded in the form of Online4baby.com credit or a refund of the order value excluding delivery fee, as specified in the competition description.

3.3. Site credit must be redeemed in a single transaction. If the full amount is not used, winners will not be able to withdraw or otherwise re-allocate the outstanding balance. No cash alternative will be made available.

3.4. For your security, please note that Online4baby will not ask competition winners for bank details to redeem prizes.

 

General

4.1. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the Prize Draw, or any part of it, without prior notice, in the event of circumstances outside its control, which it considers necessary in its sole discretion.

4.2. The Promoter's decision in all matters relating to the Prize Draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

4.3. By entering the Prize Draw, entrants agree that their personal information will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw and in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.
